A retrospective
I really do intend to be a more faithful blogger this summer. I have an idea for an assignment for next fall that I want to try out on myself, for example (more about that later). But, for now, for today, just to get back in to the practice, it's going to be mostly pictures. A little trip back in time with Cora.

I just love that Cora. And I think it's so fascinating that we can see her as she is today in that adorable baby picture. Thanks for sharing! :-) And I am glad to hear that you'll be blogging more. Yay! More good words to read!

One writing assignment I remember fondly from high school was being given a photograph and having to write a short story based on it. Mine was of a father & son walking on the beach, and I closed the story with the cheesy "here son, have a lifesaver" as that was the popular ad at the time.
A similar assignment could be done with music - I had a massage last week, and the new-age music they had playing was much like background music in a movie, and it conjured up various scenes in my head.
